Electric Pressure Canners -any experience?

    Hello! I'm considering purchasing an electric pressure canner. I'm interested because some of them can also be used as a slow cooker and I could use another one of those. I'd also like to just can a few jars of leftover soups and stews here and there to send to college with my kid and the smaller electric seems to make more sense than hauling out the big one.

    I can't find info on how many quart jars they hold. I saw one on QVC once that held 3, but I don't remember which brand or size that was. Does anyone know this?

    Also, if you have one, what kind do you have and what do you like and dislike about it?
