My electric went off while I was still asleep - first thing when I woke up and realized it was, "Oh my! My eggs!"

Check and saw the temp was still at 95 and they were on day 12 - had my husband drive them in the bator, of course, to my mom's about 15 minutes down the road
and plug them in there. . .

Is that going to effect - majorly - the hatch?

Thanks!

I had electricity going on and off over two days for hours at a time. My temp in the incubator dropped down to the 70's, with the humidity skyrocketing to above 70%. My hatch was delayed by a day, but had a good hatch with healthy chicks!

Well we didn't lose electricity, but my incubator failed in the middle of the night about 36 hours into our current hatch. The temp dropped down to the mid 70s. We got everybody moved to another incubator about 15 hours later (darnit, had to work that day & had to borrow a bator). Candled on day 5, and 100% of the eggs are developing so we are VERY happy. So our eggs were compromised for quite a number of hours and still survived and are developing well.

Good luck to you! Be sure to keep us posted.
