I was in Chat a couple weeks ago and someone told me about a hatchery in E-town, KY. Anyone that can tell me again would be appreicated. My sometimers is kicking in, sometimes I can't remember anything and sometimes I can't remember anything!

It is called Hardin County Hatchery. They no longer hatch chicks, but order in chicks from Cackle and Ideal throughout the spring.

Are Cackle and Ideal good hatcheries? I am looking to get some new birds this spring and not sure where to get them from.

EE's or Americanas (something that lays blue or green eggs)

I have some in the incubator right now, we are checking for fertility. If they are good, I am sure we can hatch some out for you. They are laying pretty blue eggs here.

    HobbyChickener:

The Hardin County Hatchery has been in business for years. It is located within a few miles of me. My family always had good success with them in years past before they stopped hatching eggs on site. [IMG] If you order through them, let us know how if your satisfied.

personally i can not sex them, as of yet, but do you want day olds or would you want to wait until we could get a gender on them?
