Ended up taking the chick out of the incubator last night, hoping that it would dry out and fall off..BUT IT WON"T!! [IMG] It is still dragging that part of the shell around too..Can I cut this off?? I do NOT want it to bleed to death, but this sucker is going on 36hrs and it is still not off....

    NEED ADVISE FAST PLEASE!! [IMG]

You could cut the shell part off but let the rest of it dry up on it's own.

Well I took a closer look and I think that the hole where it comes out, I don't think that it is closing or closed. And now I think it looks like the intestines are coming out but I'm not disect in fear of ripping more out of whatever it is...I think I will just let it go for a while and see what happens. It is still walking around they are not eating yet cause they just hatched yesterday..So I hope it starts eating to get the medicated feed in its system..

Any thoughts of the situation? [IMG] [IMG]
