Emergency Adoption of Rooster Needed, SF Bay Area

We found this Bantam Rhode Island Red rooster abandoned and starving in a local park. We are chicken newbies, but we took him home and revived him. He is,four months later, a beloved and loving pet, but it is illegal to keep in Oakland, CA. Our neighbor says Pio

must go. If you are in the Bay Area, and can provide a home for "Pio", we would be happy to have him adopted in a place where he would be safe and cared for, ideally as a pet. He is friendly and gentle with kids and women. He does NOT like men.
