Hi & [IMG] ! Lots of times issues are caused by lack of vitamins. Save-A-Chick vitamins that can be added to water or even children's Poly-vi-sol can be given with a eye dropper several times a day and it helps them get better. It can be caused by hatching issues or parent flock was lacking nutrients. Don't give up lots of times it only takes a couple days of TLC.

If it ate and drank is should be fine tonight. I would try to give it vitamins at least 3x a day or every couple hours just a little if, you can during the day.

Some ducks have a niacin deficiency - try posting on the duck threads in "Other Backyard Poultry" forum- I believe it' causes a weakness or inability to stand, etc. Hope he will be alright.

Welcome to BYC! [IMG]I'm glad you joined our community.

I don't know much about ducks, but do know that they commonly get a niacin deficiency. I would post in the Ducks section or the Emergencies section for some help. Good luck!
