emergency! Hen has explosive 'discharge' all over her backside????

Sorry to be graphic here...
but, our 6mo old Buff Orpington hen who has been laying pretty good for 2 weeks now has a milky white 'discharge' all over her backside. doesn't quite look like poo nor Egg...
she was wandering around the yard like nothing happened, but we have her separated from the other's while we figure it out... they seemed like they were going to start pecking at her...
we also found a soft egg in the middle of the yard yesterday... not sure whose it was...
could this just be a broken, soft egg???
do we need to bring her to a vet?

Has she been wormed? It could be worms or vent gleet.
