I'm with a community group in the Blue Mountains, NSW (Blue ARC Animal Ready Community) we want to produce guidance for backyard chicken owners about what they can do to prepare for emergencies - like bushfires and floods. Is anyone aware of any guidance or resources for chicken owners?

In our recent survey we found that 27% of residents owned chickens, but many people didn't know what to do with them in an emergency. We want to provide advice to help people plan what to do with them either for evacuating them, or if necessary for keeping them safer at home if they can't take them. Any help would be great if you know of any resources or have advice to share.

True...but...you'll have to wade thru a lot of chat.
This will get you started:
Hurricane

Wildfire

Flood

Would be nice if folks find this thread and stick to the topic,
might take some time for the first and some luck for the second.
