empty nests

We got one egg yesterday from six hens. I wonder if they will ever start laying again.

Are they molting? It's getting to that time of year.

I am inclined to think it is the crazy heat. I will see over the next couple of days if we see some changes from the upper 90s to the 70s. This is Colorado front range weather.
