Iris the Patridge Cochin and her seven chicklets (a variety of breeds) on our hobby farm in Wisconsin. She does a great job of keeping her brood warm no matter how many there are.

Here's my bantam mix hen this past summer with her brood,for a while I noticed her missing and figured something got her than I started seeing broody poop(extra large poops) and than I was on the search for her. It ends up she and the other bantam hens were laying in the cat house on the back porch and went broody. Than she hatched out 7 chicks and raised them up as you see in the bottom picture and are now separated and standing the cold out till spring so she can jump back on a nest and hatch some more

She's a great mama,and I love all your guys broodies and there chicks!!
