I've got a lot of great information from everyone on here, but this guy has us stumped. We have Meatball a 7.5 pound 10 month old English Orpington Rooster, vaccinated for Mareks. He started limping on his left leg about 3 weeks ago, but no other issues. He went to the vet twice. Both times the vet said he has bumble foot even though his feet looked fine. Ultimately he was put on Metacam 0.4ml per day and Enrofloxicin 0.4ml every 12 hours. A week ago he finished up his antibiotic. Also he got his feet cleaned twice a day with Novasan flush.
X-rays were taken of his foot and leg which the vet said were normal.
He is isolated in a pen on the floor of the coop during the day and he also has a pen up on the roost he usually sits on with the other chickens at night.
He's not really improving much. When he's sitting down he seems happy and seems pain free. When he stands he definitely keeps weight off his left foot and when he walks he limps as seen in the video here:

left foot ahead and slightly off to the side. When he is in his pen on the floor, he has some room to walk around and he'll move around thought-out the day, he's not totally incapacitated. At night he's pretty well confined so all he can do is turn around, which he does. He's slowing down in eating and drinking which has us concerned. I thought it possible this could be from a vitamin deficiency so I've been giving him poultry cell 2.5ml twice a day but I haven't seen much improvement in the 4 days he's been taking it.
My question is does everyone think this is bumble foot? There never was a black spot on his foot. His foot doesn't seem tender when touched and neither does his leg. I know they hide pain well so it's hard to say.
Is there a possibility this could be a tendon or joint issue? Something that couldn't be seen on the x-ray? Nothing is obviously inflamed. In the pictures there seems to be a bump on his middle toe, honestly in person it doesn't seem that pronounced but obviously it is. It seems like he can't put his foot flat when he walks. It just seems like his whole leg isn't working quite right, not just his foot.
This guy is everyone's favorite and I really don't want to see anything happen to him. I appreciate everyone's feedback.

It is hard to know what is going on, but he is limping pretty bad. I still think that Mareks could be a possibility, but he may have an injury or sprain. I would have him rest the leg for a week or so to see if that helps.

B2 riboflavin is the one that might help treat leg and foot problems. I would use human B Complex tablets, 1/4 tablet daily given orally every day for at least 2 weeks to see if that helps. B Complex contains all B vitamins including B2.

Could it be scaley mites causing that redness ?
From my bumble foot experience it doesn't look like it.
I think epsom salt soaks are worth a try, try to draw out any infection

Thanks for everyone's response. We have been through everything with this guy. Pain meds don't help, he's on a steroid for inflammation now to see if that helps, but so far nothing. He's been to the vet many times and x-rayed twice which showed nothing. He's been treated for bumble foot just in case which didn't help. It seems he just has a neurologic issue. We're trying to decide what to do with him. He's happy and healthy when he's just sitting and hanging out, as soon as he tries to walk he's obviously in pain or struggles at least. He still gets around as needed. He has his favorite hen that stays with him all day. He has a large area of the coop to himself during the day and she goes in with him every day on her own. At night he goes in a smaller pen I built on his roost so he can be with the rest of the chickens since he can't balance on the roost. He wants to sit in your lap and will do anything to get there. If he wasn't the most friendly guy around it would be an easy decision what to do with him.

Does anyone know if any chicken specialists within a couple hours of Pittsburgh, Pa? I have so much tied up in him now, what's one more vet visit?

Thanks again!
