Enlarged Waddle

I noticed that one of my roosters had an enlarged area between his waddles. I'm thinking that he was scuffling with one of the other boys and now the area has gotten infected. What do you think?

It looks like it could be an abscess, but the scuffle must have happened a while ago since there is no scabbing. Maybe you can do a search of "treat abscess" on this site.
