My entry #1

I would like you to meet Beth. We were at a livestock auction when we spotted a very overweight, 12 year old, dark brown Jenny Donkey. She was in the "kill pen" because she was lame probably due to her obesity. We brought her home, trimmed her feet and put her on a pasture only diet. That was 18 years ago, she still had misshapen front hooves and her fur was turning gray, but she still kept dogs and Coyotes out of her pasture. Sadly, Beth passed away Christmas Eve 2024. She was a good girl.

My entry #2 Donkey foal.

The Donkey foal was born around 11/6/2024. Her name is Lady Ellie. If a Jenny foal is born on our farm we put Lady in front of her name. Her mother's name is Darlene. At the auction, hubby out bid the meat buyers to bring Darlene to her "forever" home.
