    What pretty birds! I have never heard of them before. Are they pheasants?

    I don't consider them pheasants.

    do they act like more like pheasants or quail?

    Very cool, I have only seen them once of twice. I would consider them more comparable to a large partridge but francolin are deffinatly their own however rare they maybe.
