I had no idea that my RIR's would be such good escape artists. I built my coop inside my existing shed. I created a low ceiling about 6 ft above the floor to store things on and had a gap in the back corner. Well yesterday I go out to the coop to check on them and open their run door, and the chickens are in my shed side of the coop and on the lower ceiling, the were flying up on the nest boxes then up through the whole. well needless to say I have covered that hole!! Silly chickens
