Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

That is the back yard, I guess you could call it! The patch of grass between the house and the garden. We focus our efforts on the front yard. Hubby has to haul every drop off water we use, so the back grass just gets what the garden sprinklers share with it, that and mother nature!

Michelle glad your meeting is over. Do you have a busy day ahead?

Do any of you have a "gee this is really good" imitation crab/pasta salad recipe? Charmed I am going through my recipe file on the computer and can't find one. I thought you had sent me one

My MIL s family reunion is this weekend and I have never met most of these people. She raves about how good of a cook i am , but I am not a salad person. Charmed gave me a Amish Macaroni salad recipe that my husband loves. So I will make that and I am making the one where you marinate the veggies in Italian dressing. Hubby won't eat that though because its "oily"

So I wanted to make one other salad. Can you help

I googled it but tried and true recipes from friends are always better

I do have a semi-busy day planned. I need to work on auction stuff that I have put off and now it is crunch time. It shouldn't take long though. I would like to get everything done by Friday, so I don't have to worry about what to catch up on Tuesday.

I am not much of a salad person either. Destiny and I are making our own recipe book and we really didn't come up with anything that sounded good except for a few potato salad recipes. The one we did find that we might try is just cut up apple chunks and snickers mixed up in some cool whip.

You made my stomach growl out loud on that one! Snickers are Kennys favorite, but I am afraid to make another trip to the store. In case i do, are the snickers froze or refirdgerated before cutting them up and do you put anything on the apples to keep them from turning brown?

Good Morning! Welcome GoldenRoo! Glad to have you join us!

I got my garden tilled last night finally! I have to replant my carrots tonight and it looks like the deer have been eating on my green bean plants.

Way to go on the softball win, NY!

Cool pic of Colton, Michelle. Are you not feeling well? I missed where you said you were sick. Hope you're ok.

Tanya....I'll look and see what salad recipes I have here.

If I remember right, you just cut them both up and toss them with the cool whip. I will check it closer when I get home. It is so simple, yet looks so good. You know me, simple is the key to my cooking! While I am at it, I am going to share my cake recipe. You may already know this simple secret, but it is new to me. Make a package of vanilla pudding as directed (we used the cooked not instant), add a yellow cake mix (dry), pour in a flour/greased 13X9, top with butterscotch chips (we used chocolate) and bake 30 mins. It was delicious! We also tried it with banana cream pudding and no chips and it was also a hit. One thing we did find out though, is to not completely finish the pudding, add the cake mix just as it is boiling or it will set up too quick to get it mixed up.

I don't feel really bad, I am just really exhausted this week. It has been a quiet week, but it seems like I just can't get enough sleep!

That looks AWESOME!!!! Tell Colton cool-beans! Yup Im a geek!

He/we put a lot of time and money into that. I wish I had a good pic on my computer when he had the full feather bustles and arm bands. Every rank requires different dress or something added to it. The piece on his head is the newest, it replaces his head band. It was over $200. He also just made (with his grandma) the pants, breech cloth and pouch. He has his first run tomorrow night.

Thanks for checking. That cake sounds fantastic! I wish I had a cake mix handy
