Ever feel lonely when you dont have any PM's waiting for you?

heck yeah!!! I personally would preferr the dry items to cook with-I have however gotten bath gift baskets-I dont have a tub though-well I do, but since our water comes from our pond-by the time you fill it up-the water is very yellow and just makes you feel dirty! besides Ive used that tub for the dogs and chickens and duck in the last year ewww

I want to find some cute baskets and I found some little bath puffs 3/$1 to put in. Last summer Destiny and I found some little rubber duckies in a pack for like 3/1 or 2. I am keeping my eyes out for those. If I can't find any small jars, I may put them in cellophane bags or something similar to that. Any other ideas or am I making it too complicated?

I agree with Charmed, I think Bath Baskets are a great gift idea! Thats something most women don't splurge on for themselves. You just can't beat a long bubble bath with candles, a good book and of course a glass of wine (or 2!)

NY
my tub has had many a sick chicken or sick kitten in it too. It is also where the incubator sets when it is in use. Thats why they make big garden tubs, right??!!

Michelle thanks for mentioning the food! I didn't think of that. I will be sure and ask. Only 4 more days...............

Second hand stores are a great place to find gift baskets and unique jars. I am a bad one to ask because my husband says I over complicate everything!!

After all the goofy stuff about the blankets and stuff, it didn't occur to me as I was driving all over town to find his food (way overpriced, I might add) that I should mention that to you. I didn't have the luck of talking to the owner before I brought him home and wish I had. I only go by what little vet records he had and fortunately Carol is very close with the people out there, so they told her what they could. They were just glad he didn't have to go out there to the shelter! I got the heads up for him being treated for worms a couple times, so I am keeping a close eye on that.

I figure my mom might have some jars for me over at her store and I am going to keep an eye out for them and baskets at the very few second hand stores or dollar stores. I want to keep it low cost, but sometimes I get carried away. I usually just jump in the shower, but sometimes it is nice to just relax in the tub! I am probably one of the very few people on here to say I have never had a bird in my house. Mostly because hubby would kill me and secondly, we do have a large garage equipped for "hospital" care and incubator. (now let's not count the goats being in the house as wee little ones, and even sleeping with me once in a while!)

I read the first part of it, but good grief, your evening just didn't get any better! It is heartbreaking when something like that happens. I am so sorry!

If you need this roo for breeding then keep him seperate from the others and use him when needed. It's hard but you are going to have to seperate your personal feelings about this and get your business hat on. Use the roo for what you got him for and then if he can't play nice he doesn't need to be in the "family". You are way too busy to be worrying all day about what he is doing while your away. I hope your other girls are ok.

Have you found them yet?

Cool, thank you! I hadn't seen the first one yet. Now I need to find jars...

The kitties have a huge box (converted rabbit hutch) with inches and inches of straw in it right outside my front door to sleep in at the moment. They even get room service every morning and evening delivered right outside their door. (except of course precious Oliver who rules over the garage!)

Oh....I'm sorry. I didn't want to know where your kittys slept. My DD's kittys were wondering about it....that's all...hint hint.......snicker snicker...........

Michelle....are you ignoring my funny post??? I was only kidding. I promise I will not bring my DD's kittys to live at your house.

No, not ignoring. As a matter of fact, last night I was telling the gang to scoot over or build on, there may be visitors! I was just praying that if you mapquested me you would have as much luck with it as I usually have and end up in Iowa or something like that!
