We have one hen that lays double yolkers quite often, and my children fight over them..But, has anyone ever seen a triple? I haven't, just curious...

That's amazing! My mother told me she saw a triple yolk egg once when she was a child. No idea what breed chicken laid that one...

Hens over two years old sometimes lay triple yolk eggs. I have a Mennonite poultry farmer friend who used to bring me eggs from the hens he was getting ready to replace with younger stock. They were HUGE and most were double and triple yolk.
