Ill start it off! I have had 1 Buff Brahma over the years but found it to be a great breed. At the moment I have 3 older Buff Orpingtons. There quite hardy and have been the longest to last in the flock! Even after being injured by predators. I will post some pics soon!
I have two Buff Orpingtons. One is at the top of the pecking order, and the other is currently at the bottom. They are good layers and mostly good girls!
I find my buffs are near the bottom. They like to play it cool. That one in the pick lower or higher?
No, this will be the first time I've ever owned any type of Brahma or a chicken that's mixed with Brahma. The father is a buff Brahma, but I don't know who the mother is. They are eggs that I got from a local farm, so it's just a mystery what is going to come out.
I found with the feathered feet they were fine with walking on snow. And are all around a friendly breed. Do you have another buff birds?
