Expecting my fuzzy butts on sept. 12........ And I'll never be able to wait that long!
How exciting...but that is so far off!
Mine are 10 weeks and 20 weeks...no more babies....
I can't have anymore after this hatch! Only six eggs, dunno what breed/s. Have to wait until my other die or I have to get rid of them to get more. I'm happy! lol
I've never tried hatching, but it sounds fun! I'm excited for you! do you think I'm ordering my chicks too late in the season? I'm afraid I won't be able to put them out side in the chilly (and sometimes snowy) Colorado october. And although I love chickens, I'm not sure I want six in my house all winter..........
just six days!
Mine started hatching 3 days ago!! Good luck with yours! xD
I think your chicks will be fine outside in October- by then they will have lost their fluff and grown real feathers- but you can put a heat light out in their coop if you are worried- just make sure it is secure and away from anything that could catch on fire. Good luck with your new chicks!
