Excess eggs for chicks, hard boiled, then what?

I've got excess eggs from my adult layers.

I plan to hard boil them to feed to chicks when they hatch, during brooding the first week or two, as a supplement.

When it comes to feeding time ... which is easier and quicker for me ...

Is it easier to feed the chicks frozen, peeled hard boiled eggs, thawed, then mashed?

OR

Is it easier to feed them peeled hard boiled eggs that were put Cuisinart, then frozen in ziplocs?

What do you do?
