So my dad and I have been working away at getting all set up to have chickens again after many many years of not. Everything needed an overhaul and fixing but were getting there. This is what we did this weekend and 1 of the 3 or 4 I'm going to make like this. So excited that I am getting somewhere on my project while hubby is working so much.

How cute your little brooder box is? Are you going to put 8 to 15 little ones in a box and then move them into a larger one soon? [IMG] [IMG]

Its 4ft long and 2ft wide by 2ft high so my thought is to have 4 of these and put about 13 in each one. That should do till about 5 weeks or so I think till they go outside. My coop will be completely fenced in with the run all the way around it. Its pretty large actually well will be once its finished. So far everything is done except the run around it which is the biggest part.
