This morning I was telling my friend in Singapore about my poor hen Sadie, who is molting. There are feathers everywhere! I told her I would email her a photo. So, I go out to the run and take a photo, not a bad photo, just not as clear as I would like and she has POOP on her foot!! Oh no, I have to get a better photo than this one
I go in the run, which makes the chickens all surround Sadie! Obviously she told them she didn't want any photos taken while she is in such a state! I didn't close the door good, and Sadie escapes into the garden! Thankfully, I shut the gate to that section of the yard, and Spartacus is unable to help me catch Sadie, much to his dismay!
She was not even able to enjoy her time in the garden, with Spartacus barking at her through the fence.
Funny thing about "escaping" chickens, all they do is want back in the run! So, she was fairly easy to catch. I should have just picked her up and taken this photo in the first place!
