    You were supposed to bring leftover chicken (what my chooks had for breakfast). Too hot yet for oatmeal.

    If looks could kill!!!! She started laying recentlly.. im afriad she might go in strike now [​IMG]

    She hasn't had it in a few days because of the heat. its been cool yesterda( was building a tractor) and this morning.. I went out to snap some pics of the tractor thing we built and i figured id go in the house an snap pics. she saw me through the pop door and came a runnin!


    I think maybe she might with hold the fresh goods on me [​IMG]

    I hand feed dry, uncooked, old-fashioned (not "quick") oats to my flock for treats. I think they like it better than BOSS!

    This afternoon I offered them BOSS and they ran over, pecked at the BOSS and almost every one of them looked up at me for a moment before continuing. That was unusual behavior; usually with treats, it's Om num num first, Buk bok buk buk, second.

    Black Oil Sunflower Seed. Excellent treat, inexpensive, higher in protein than scratch, much lower in carbs, promotes feather growth.
