Exotic Breeds

    Whats the most exotic breed of chickens to raise? From a breeder point of veiw?[​IMG]

    This is purely subjective and people are going to have different opinions depending upon what YOU mean by exotic. I can come up with several breeds I consider rather exotic: Rapanui, Shamo, Malay.

    There's a whole list of them. Just depends on what you want in a breed. You can go to Feathersite and look through the different breeds.
    Personally I'm partial to long tails.
    If you want something different that is still a good layer, try La Fleche.
    True Jungle Fowl are exotic and pretty, but I imagine hard to raise.
