Exotic Critters!Anybody own Any ?

    Are snakes considered exotic? Because we used to keep them as pets. Sadly no pictures.

    I have two hedgehogs that we adopted as rescues from an animal raid. Their names are Dolce and Gabbana. They aren't exotic like a mink or anything but they are insectivores and I do have to take them to an exotic animal vet (and I have the vet bills to prove it [​IMG] lol).

    I grew up with a pet skunk... someone in Boston was breeding them, took out their woofer and shipped it to Nova Scotia... they are still a bit "exotic smelling" but they really make lovely pets, very affectionate if you can get past the "dip" (where they still manage a bit of scent on the floor)

    The only pets I have that are maybe considered exotic are my 4 tarantulas, all different species.
