Experts, could these be Buff Orpington chicks?

    Picked these girls up at Tractor Supply, no breed was listed. Feathers are coming in a very pale cream color. These are my first chickens so I am curious what breed they could be. Any guesses? I am in Wisconsin, so I'm sure they are a cold hearty breed if that helps narrow choices. No feathers on legs or feet. [​IMG]

    Those look to be Red Sexlinks (AKA Golden Comets, Cinnamon Queens, Red Stars, ISA Browns, etc.).

    It's a sexlinked cross of a Rhode Island Red rooster on Rhode Island White hens (females hatch red, males hatch white). Excellent prolific brown egg layers.
