Purchased some new chicks to add to my flock this season. Helping out a nearby neighbor as this is their first year ordering chickens.
We ordered together. We were supposed to get BO's (Buffs) , EE's (I think, maybe they were Arucanas, but probably EE's) , and Rhode Island Reds. I was originally only going to get 3 Buffs to add to my flock.
They all came together and I let me daughter grab "hers". They supposedly explained which chick was which.... Now as chicks they all looked the similar.
Now that they're a couple weeks old or so, they're looking different. The buff is seemingly standing out to me.
The other two are looking distinctly different. Some black on their feathers, a darker than buff color, etc.
