Yesterday afternoon I heard a distinct attempt at crowing......and was surprised. -purchased 4 pullets at the local farm/feed store....or at least they were supposed to be. My neighbor also has 5 "pullets" that are from 10 - 13 weeks old. -could have been one of theirs. Anyway, this is the one bird that concerns me due to the huge wattles. -feathering tells me pullet, but wattles are large. Is this a pullet or cockerel????
