Had some left over thighs in the freezer, wondering what to make with them. Hmmmm, how out I debone and put em through the meat grinder. Formed little patties, dipped in egg, dipped in flour/cornstarch mixture with some seasonings. Fried em up. YUM! Homemade nuggets with out all the CRAP in them that you get from fast food places. Not too mention they tasted much better! Put the rest in a freezer bag, into the freezer for later use.

We make something similar to these too -- well my wife does.

She rolls the patties in flour with salt, pepper and season salt mixed in.

    Fries them.

Dip in hot sauce mixed with butter and baked for 15 minutes --

    Just made myself hungry.

I know what I'm asking for for supper tonight

If I can just score some extra roos that people are willing to let go to the grinder off Craigslist, I'm SO making this.

I've never thought about doing that! We need a meat grinder - I hate all that overprocessed junk. Not with our birds, chicken at the store or farmers market. [IMG] Thanks for the idea! [IMG]

I am going to do that! I just recently realized that my kitchen aid mixer has a meat grinder accessory and so I put it on the Christmas list. Sounds yummy.
