Hi,
I've been hatching and breeding Marans for a little over 2 years now, but this spring I've had quite a few chicks with six toes. Their feet have the coloring and feathering of the rest of my Wheaten Marans chicks, but it has a formation like a silkie foot. What's causing it? Could there be something wrong tempreture-wise in my incubator? I know my line isn't inbred, I got them from a very good breeder, and my line is very young, so I can't think of anything that would cause it.
