extreme newbie in northern ireland

Hi All

I have been on this forum a few times lurking well as my fortieth birthday present I have been bought three young hens, a Plymouth rock, Sussex and Orpington. I live in the middle of a large town but have a decent sized garden and want my hens to free range.

Other than that, any helpful hints would be appreciated. I forgot to say that I want eggs from them but they have been bought primarily as pets

My wife and I visited northern Ireland for our 37th wedding anniversary and loved your beautiful countryside.
