Eye infected??

Hi everyone....just need to see what another person besides myself thinks my roo was closing his one eye...no sign of infection...flushed it out anyway..thought maybe one of girls pecked him as he's young and 'overzelous' in his behavior...anyway....day 2 slight nasal discharge...brought him in house.cleaned him up and started Vet Rx...next day I removed a feather from his nostril!!! Eye is now very swollen..doing warm compresses..but should I get eye antibiotic ointment??

Can you post some photos of the eye (rooster too)

If the eye and surrounding tissue is swollen, then I would flush with saline and apply an eye ointment like Terramycin 2-3 times a day.
Look inside his beak as well - I wonder if he's got more feather/debris stuck in his Chonal slit that may be contributing to the swelling.

I don't see anything in his chonal..throat looks clear as well..but he hasn't eaten today...even put some favorites in with him back of his comb is now drooping...I'm going to nutridrench him I think

Thank you so much for advice!! I'll keep flushing and get an eye ointment. I can't lose this boy!!!besides being attached to this gorgeous boy...do you have any idea how hard it is to find quality Andalusians around PA!

He does...I squeezed it out after a couple saline flushes...maybe mucousy pus kinda
