Our mottled d'uccle, Penny (6 months), has had this sore on her eye for a few months now. At first, I thought that one of our other chickens had pecked her, so I decided just to watch it. It was very small.
Within the last week, this "sore" has grown out of control, and her eye is nearly closed! I have made an appt for the vet in a few hours, but wanted to stop by here to get advice, or if anyone has seen this before?
There is no pus, and it has just started to bleed.
