eye swollen shut

Is there anything we can do for this hen? Her eye is swollen below and it's shut. However, she doesn't seem to be complaining...

You could try a warm compress, see if that helps?

My 5 month old BCM has the same thing. We are on day 3. I have used warm compresses to "unstick" the lids, then a little saline rinse, then some Vetericyn, an animal ophthalmic gel. It hasn't made any difference other than she opens her eye for a bit after I treat her. I was looking for ideas when I came across your post. Hope someone with more experience and expertise stumbles on this thread...

make sure the warm compresses are moist (warm wet washcloth) nd not too hot...
