I was given a few chickens & a rooster almost a year ago, can anybody tell me what kind they are & any info on them? The first picture of the all white hen is/was Priscilla. Very Sad to say I found her Thursday down below her nest, life less. She had been looking real gloomy, tired, not very peppy the last day before I found her body. Priscilla was under my feet when i was in the coop area, always came when I called her. She would stand on the shovel when I was digging for worms. I'm gonna try to hatch her nest of eggs which is another reason I wanted to know what kind of chicken she was. }}}LEGHORN?

The second picture is HennyPenny. }}}SICILIAN BUTTERCUP? She is sitting on her nest ready to hatch on Monday 5/2

The third picture has the all white rooster. He has the most gross looking feet/legs. They are crusty looking. Looks like Thick white clusters of...bird poop. And hella long spurs. Also in the picture is a white & black hen.}}} LAKENVELDER? Two weeks ago I hatched 2 chicken eggs. I think they were from the White & Black hen. The fourth & fifth picture is the 2chicks. D.O.B. 4/14 and 4/15 (six hours apart)

Silkies have five toes and those look like little silkie crosses. They are adorable.

BTW you might want to take a pic of the silkie roos legs and post them. What you are describing sounds like scaly leg mites and that needs to be treated. It's miserable for the bird and contagious to the rest of the flock.

Cats Critters..Your roosters are very cool looking. Will you bring them to me? I'm ONLY IN CALIFORNIA. lol just kidding

but they are very cool looking! ~Do you think rooster #1 would get along with the chickens I have? }}hens & rooster. ~Julie~

Gross.... Thank you for the info I'll go take a picture. }}}yikes....and its contagious? oh great. Thanks again, and Thank you meepitqueenie for the info also. ~Julie~

The white and black is a Lakenvelder. White Roo is a Silkie, The top is a Leghorn. The other is a Buttercup. The chicks, if the dad's the 5 toed silkie, are you sure the mom's not the Buttercup? They look more like buttercups than lakenvelders. There's no way to tell what gender they are yet though.
