Thank you for the warm welcome! Settled in the big bend area of FL. I am starting off with 8 EE's. Ordered 10 but 2 did not make it. The other 8 are fat & sassy.

I have a small meal worm farm that I have maintained in the house for my veiled chameleon who recently passed...didn't give up the farm...now those worms will go to good use as soon as my chicks are a little older.

Moved my little flowers from the bathtub to a compost bin in a spare bedroom. The top is open but will be covered with chicken wire as soon as one assumes a Houdini personality. They are now almost 3 weeks old. Another month or so & I will move them outside.

Retired from USAF in 2014...spent 5 yrs traveling in an RV. Finally settled on a 2.5 acre property. I have cats & dogs & decided it was time to add some chicks. Ordered 10 EE thru TSC/Hoover Hatchery. To date 8/10 survived and are doing well. Love reading all these threads.
