Fatting up Roo's

I have separated my roos from my hens as it seams someone gave me a lot of roo's. (craigslist

) I am wanting to get the roos big as possible as quick as possible so we can cull. Should i put them on a broiler feed or keep them on the layer pellets?

I have no experience with older birds. The only ones we butchered were some dual purpose that we kept to 20 weeks. They were on grower, with some corn added to put on a little fat. They turned out pretty tasty.
