Hello, I have two chickens that are 1.5/2.5 years old and both of them have a lot of fat in their crops. They are not eating much at all and are very in active. Their crops are just filled with fat feeling stuff. I have no clue as to what this is, so if anyone could help me identify it, that would be great.

Pictures would help. Do they free range also? What do you feed? Is there crawl hard/full in the morning when they wake up?

They don’t really have a large crop, it just feels like there is a lot of fat in it. There is also very little food. None of the fat empties, but the food does. They are very in active and they do not free rants, but are let out for two hours everyday.

Can you post some photos?

What do the crops feel like first thing in the morning before they have had anything to eat or drink?
Tell us what you feed them - including treats.
