What is the average egg output for a Salmon Faverolle. I was initially thinking about getting a couple different breeds but I absolutely adore the way Faverolles look and I hear that their personality is amazing as well.

What can I expect for eggs (color and amount)?

I have bantam Faverolles and the lay as well as any chicken I have owned and that includes the Rhode Island Reds and Production reds. Mine do not stop during the winter and we get many nights in the teens and twenties with daytime temps in the thirties and low forties. My bantams lay a nice medium sized eggs in their second year of production. They lay a cream colored eggs and can go broody but I have only had one go broody in three years.

I am an avid Faverolle fancier and have nothing but good things to say about them. The most important of which is the wonderful disposition of the roosters. I know it can be an individual thing with roosters but I have had two and they have been equally docile and friendly while still being active breeders.
