My favorite girl was killed while we were on vacation. After reading about the folks who lost all their chickens on Christmas, I probably should feel lucky, but I miss my Ruby! It had to be the sweetest one!
I suspect it was a raccoon. Think it's time to set a trap...

I feel the same way about my ducks. I had a beautiful woodie freeze durring the blizzard that hit the North East yesterday. At least it wasn't a coyote. I lost a Rouen to a coyote once..thats when I bought a gun. Best wishes to you and your flock.
