Rather disturbing to say the least but the fact the article ended in a tone that felt more like a rant made me wonder if its a regular news site or an anti something site and so how accurate is it.

Would be interesting to see other links to the story as well.

    Thanks for sharing.

Those are good dependable links. Thanks!

The other bit that was a bit worrying was the part about Arsenic found in rice.

Arsenic is a naturally occurring compound.

The manufacture of Arsanilic Acid, the primary product containing arsenic for use in chicken feeds, voluntarily stopped manufacture of this product this past September.

  6. There are numerous compounds containing Arsenic, but Arsenic per se is not a compound - it is an elemental metal. And it sure is naturally occurring, but that makes it no less poisonous to darned near everyhing that can walk, crawl, fly or swim.

The State of Maryland banned arsenic in poultry feed in January. I think they were the first state to do it.

I have read about this numerous times. We raise everything we eat because of the "stuff" that is allowed in our food. The fast food chains also put a pink slime in their burgers that is known to cause cancer.
