Feather issues

I've run into a feather issue with one of my girls.the feathers on both wings seem to be falling out. No where else. Just the large wing feathers. Im not sure if it is a depluming mite? Anyone have any thoughts?

If your hen is over a year old, she is probably going through a molt. I see new feathers growing in behind the others. It wouldn't hurt to check her thoroughly for mites though.

I thouht that at first, however, she is only about 10 months. Altho, she began laying kind of early. I have checked her for mites, and she is free of any crawlies, that I can see.

Could be going through a premature molt--one of my 9 month old hens did that this year.......
