feather loss excessive

Our chicken over last 2 weeks has lost an excessive amount of feathers .She is bald in some spots and only has to shake herself for feathers to fly everywhere . Temperatures recently have been over 90degrees and we wonder if she is heat stressed . Other chicken is fine . They are free range daytime and secure at night .One of them is laying still and we had thought it was her.

Sounds like she may be in a very late in the season molt. Could be something else causing it though such as nutritional problems or what not. Look her over good and see if you see new feathers coming in. If you do then she is molting.
