I've been raising chickens for years. After bout year old. Back and tail feathers are gone. I've done big Cleaning's. Sprayed Pymetherine. Seven dust. Diamachus earth. I feed quality lay pellets. Tried different brands. My neighbors do not have issues. I will send pics. Phone call. Anything to solve this

Greetings from Kansas, loweman60, and [IMG]! Great to have you with us! You said you've been raising chickens for years. But you didn't mention molting to explain the feather loss? Is that a possibility? Best wishes.

I am wondering too, if they might be molting. [IMG]

Welcome to BYC! It's great to have you.

It's molting season, so that could be the cause. You might also be dealing with feather picking, if she's not growing in any new feathers.
