feather loss

My male turkey (about 9 mos. old) has lost his breast feathers. He gets a varied diet, and a lot of room, although he's so heavy he spends most of his time sitting. He has a female partner. He eats well. Thanks.

If you are asking why, he is probably rubbing them off by laying down.
