I know this has been asked over and over. Actually my chicks are Easter eggers and Ameracaunas. How do you feather sex?

I don't think you can. To my knowledge, there are only certain breeds whose feathers are appropriate for this. I'm certain EE's mixed heritage negates this, and I'm not positive, but don't think Ameraucanas are on the list.

Just gotta wait and watch.

Eventually, you'll get a crow... or an egg.

On EE's or Ameracaunas (the name the feed store uses for EE's) the females grow in their tails before the males do.

There are a few large breeds you can "feather sex" this way.
