Feather sexing baby chicks?

You have a 50/50 shot at getting it right when sexing barnyard mixes.

Otherwise you have to have a fast feathering male over a slow feathering female to accurately use this method. It is a type of sex-linking. If the parents have all sorts of mixed up genetics, the chicks will too. Therefore giving you a 50/50 shot of getting it right.

Pretty much every parent's odds since the beginning of time.... 😂 🤣 😂 🤣

I'm making an educated guess on saying both are boys.

Update at about 6-7 weeks to get a more accurate determination?

I sex all my chicks at a 1-2 day window, or directly after hatching. I have a 98% success rate with this sexing method. Been doing it for a few years now, & get very few wrong. I'm self trained.
