feather types dominant and recessive genes

    Can anyone point me in the direction of an article on feather types and dominant/recessive genes in quail? Or maybe just tell me what's what. I'd like to learn some more .....

    Here is one article I found after reading your post. Just to let you know: I read the first paragraph 4 times, and it's like, "uhhhhhhh... what?" Here is another article that deals with buttonquail, and it has pictures. I found another article that references a book.
