    Hello everyone
I am new to raising chickens and we have just moved to a house and have acquired 7 feathered friends.
I do think they have been roaming as I can see nests in trees.
Does anyone know what breed they are and age (thereabout) and are there any cockrels.
Someone has suggested by another photo that they are a xbreed of batman and a silkie.
Some of them do have feather like things off there feet.
I can't see any combs just looks like wee fluffy hats on there heads...They are very friendly.

How do you attach pictures please

Just to me they look like Black Copper Marans/ silkies mixed. I do not know a lot of breeds so they could be a breed of their own. That is just what they look like to me. I hope someone else with more knowledge of breeds is able to help you.

They look like silkie crosses, and the four in the picture look like hens. [IMG]

    Thanks everyone for your input.
I found a picture of a black copper maran and I can see the likeness.
I suppose we will only know when I find there eggs.
What age do you think they are?
